Pools Type Overview
Pools We Install
Easy Pools installs the main pool types used in Toronto and GTA backyards. Each option has a different build method, design range, cost profile, timeline, and maintenance need.
Concrete Pools
- Any shape, any depth, built entirely on site.
- The most capable and most expensive inground option.
- From $75,000
- 3–6 months
Fibreglass Pools
- A pre-manufactured shell installed in 1–3 weeks.
- Non-porous surface, no liner replacement, lowest long-term maintenance.
- From $50,000
- 1–3 weeks
Vinyl Liner Pools
- Built on site to your dimensions with a custom-fitted liner.
- More shape flexibility than fibreglass at a lower entry cost than concrete.
- From $45,000
- 3–6 weeks
ICF Pools
- Insulated concrete construction with better heat retention than standard concrete.
- Same design flexibility, lower heating costs over time.
- From $80,000
- 3–5 months
Semi-Inground Pools
- Partially buried, partially above grade.
- The right answer for sloped lots and budgets that don’t reach a full inground build.
- From $20,000
- 1–3 weeks
Above-Ground Pools
- Fastest and most affordable.
- Installed in 1–3 days, no excavation required.
- A permit and compliant fence are still required in Toronto.
- From $5,000
- 1–3 days
Indoor Pools
- Swim year-round regardless of weather.
- Requires a full building permit, structural engineering, and a dedicated dehumidification system.
- From $150,000
How it Works
How Pool Install Works
Four Steps From Yard to Water:
1. Site Visit:
We come to the property before anything else. We assess yard size, slope, equipment access, drainage, and soil — and talk through how you want to use the pool. The quote that follows reflects what’s actually on your site.
2. Permits:
We prepare drawings and submit the Zoning Certificate and Pool Fence Enclosure Permit applications to the City of Toronto. Permit handling is included in every project. Toronto permits typically take 4–10 weeks — we get applications moving as early as possible.
3. Construction:
Excavation, pool structure, plumbing, electrical, coping, and decking, managed in sequence by one team. Build time runs from 1–3 days for above-ground pools to 3–6 months for concrete. We keep you informed at each phase.
4. Inspection and Handover:
The City inspects the pool enclosure. Once cleared, the pool is filled and chemistry is balanced. We walk you through equipment operation, maintenance, and your 3-year warranty before we leave.
Why Easy Pools
What Sets Easy Pools Apart
Easy Pools gives homeowners clear pool guidance before work starts. Pool projects involve cost, design, materials, access, safety, equipment, maintenance, and long-term care.
Permit handling is built in — not an extra. Every project includes pool enclosure permit submission. We prepare the drawings, submit the applications, manage the revisions. You don't chase the City.
One team from start to finish. Easy Pools co-ordinates excavation, pool construction, plumbing, electrical, and fencing as one project. There's no handoff between separate contractors and no gap between trades where things fall through.
Quotes that hold. Every quote is itemised by phase and component. You see what excavation costs, what the pool structure costs, what equipment is included, and what permits cost — before you sign. We don't revise numbers upward after digging starts. Genuinely unforeseen site conditions are the only exception, and we flag them in writing, before proceeding.
A real 3-year warranty. All pool equipment and hard landscaping is covered for 3 years against defects in workmanship from project completion. One-time free repair or replacement per item. No outstanding balance, no warranty — which is why payment is tied to project milestones, not a calendar.
A payment structure that makes sense. 10% at signing. 30% when excavation is done and the pool kit is in. 40% when the main work is complete. 20% at final completion. The largest payment comes when the work is furthest along.
